I'm wondering why J.K. Rowling decided to write an epilogue for the last book in the Harry Potter series. I'm not sure what purpose it served, other than to give us a glimpse into the future. Did it wrap up loose ends? Did it give us closure? Or was it just a way for Rowling to say goodbye to her characters?I'm curious to hear what others think about the epilogue. Why do you think Rowling wrote it? Do you think it was necessary?
