Need help with a plot for your story?

I'm looking for ideas for a new story. What are some good plot ideas that you've come across? I'm especially interested in ideas that are unique or have an interesting twist.

There is no one answer to this question as it depends on what type of story you want to write. However, here are a few ideas to get you started:
