Use the shortcut F2 to enter the Edit Feature Line command. In the Options bar, select one of the following:
- By Best Fit: Spline
- By Best Fit: Clothoid
- By Best Fit: Spiral
- By Points: Spline
- By Points: Clothoid
- By Points: Spiral
Click the icon to select the method you want to use to edit the feature line:
- For By Best Fit: Spline, click the Spline icon .
- For By Best Fit: Clothoid, click the Clothoid icon .
- For By Best Fit: Spiral, click the Spiral icon .
- For By Points: Spline, click the Spline by Points icon .
- For By Points: Clothoid, click the Clothoid by Points icon .
- For By Points: Spiral, click the Spiral by Points icon .
When you are in the Edit Feature Line command, you can use the following methods to edit your feature line:
- For By Best Fit: Spline, click the icon, then click and drag the green control points to edit the spline.
- For By Best Fit: Clothoid, click the icon, then click and drag the green control points to edit the clothoid.
- For By Best Fit: Spiral, click the icon, then click and drag the green control points to edit the spiral.
- For By Points: Spline, click the icon, then click and drag the white control points to edit the spline.
- For By Points: Clothoid, click the icon, then click and drag the white control points to edit the clothoid.
- For By Points: Spiral, click the icon, then click and drag the white control points to edit the spiral.
