When you are writing a check in Microsoft Word, you will need to insert the correct symbol for the number 4. The symbol for the number 4 is called an "at sign" or "@." To insert the at sign in Word, you can use the Symbol dialog box, the Character Map utility, or the keyboard shortcut.
To insert the at sign using the Symbol dialog box:
- Click the Insert tab.
- In the Symbols group, click Symbol.
