Image size for shirts

I am looking to have a shirt made with my company's logo on it. I want the image to be a certain size, but I am not sure how many inches it should be. I am also curious as to what others think about image size on shirts in general.What are your thoughts? How many inches should an image be on a shirt?

This really depends on the size of the shirt and the print area. For example, a small shirt with a large print area will require a larger image than a large shirt with a small print area. Generally speaking, we recommend using an image that is at least 4 inches wide for a shirt design.

This really depends on the size and resolution of the image, as well as the size of the shirt. As a general rule of thumb, an image should be no more than 3-4 inches wide on a shirt. If the shirt is a larger size (i.e. men's XL or above), you may be able to go up to 5 inches wide. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what looks best.
