The format of an informal letter can vary depending on the relationship between the sender and the recipient. However, there are some general guidelines that can be followed. An informal letter typically includes the sender's address, date, and salutation. An informal letter can be written in any format you choose, but there are some common elements that should be included:

The date should be written in full, including the day, month and year.
The recipient's address should be written above the date, on the left hand side of the page.
The sender's address is usually included in the letter, either at the top of the page on the right hand side, or at the end of the letter on the left hand side.
A salutation, or greeting, should be included at the beginning of the letter. Common greetings include "Dear" followed by the person's name, "Hi" or "Hello".
The body of the letter should be written in a friendly, conversational style.
The letter should be ended with a complimentary close, such as "Sincerely", "Yours truly" or "Take care".
The sender's name and signature should be included below the complimentary close.
