A running head is a short summary of your paper that appears at the top of each page. To create a running head in APA 7th edition, follow these steps:
On the title page, type the title of your paper in the running head at the top left corner of the page.
On subsequent pages, type the shortened title of your paper in the running head.
Make sure that the running head is no more than 50 characters long, including spaces.
For more information on creating a running head in APA 7th edition, see the APA 7th edition manual (pp. 131-132).
