Creating a white outline in Clip Studio Paint (CSP) is an easy way to add a subtle but powerful effect to your illustrations. To do so, start by creating a new layer on top of the layer to which you'd like to apply the outline. Select the “Gel Pen” tool, which can be found in the “Ink Pen” tab of the main CSP Tools panel. Then double click on the Outline Color Palette in the Property Inspector on the right side of the screen to bring up the Color Picker. Select the white color of your choice. Next, use the Gel Pen to create a line around the edges of the affected layer.
Finally, to modify the width or opacity of your outline, select the “Edit Line” tool (also found in the Ink Pen tab), and move the slider to the desired level. You may want to experiment with a few settings to get the exact effect you’re looking for. Now you’re all finished; you’ve created a white outline in CSP!
