Liquid layout enables you to create layouts that automatically adjust when you change the size of a page or a text block. This can be useful when creating documents that will be viewed on different devices with different screen sizes, such as a website or an ebook. You can also use liquid layout to create reports or other documents whose content may vary in size.
To create a liquid layout, you first need to create a frame with the content you want to flow. This can be done by creating a text frame or by placing an object on the page. Once you have created the frame, you can then add columns and gutters to flow the content within the frame. To do this, go to the Layout menu and choose Liquid Layout > Columns and Gutters. A dialog box will appear where you can specify the number of columns and gutters you want to add.
Once you have added columns and gutters, you can then flow the content into the frame by going to the Layout menu and choosing Liquid Layout > Flow. A dialog box will appear where you can specify how you want the content to flow. For example, you can choose to flow the content from left to right, or you can choose to flow it from top to bottom.
You can also specify how the content should adjust when the frame is resized. For example, you can choose to have the content resize to fit the frame, or you can choose to have the content remain the same size and just flow to the next page or column.
