The Book of Queer is a collection of 17 short films that tell the stories of LGBTQ people in the Middle East and North Africa, and challenge dominant stereotypes about LGBTQ people in the region. The films range from short narrative films and animations to musicals, documentaries, and performances. Each episode is about 20 minutes in length.

The Book of Queer is a multi-volume series, so the exact number of episodes depends on which edition of the series is being referenced. The original volume of the Book of Queer series was released as a two-volume collection in 1993, which contained a total of 12 episodes. The first expanded version also featured 12 episodes, but was expanded to three volumes in 2000. The expanded version also includes 2 additional episodes, making a total of 14. The recent omnibus edition contains all episodes from both versions, for a total of 26 episodes. Therefore, depending on the edition, you can expect anywhere from 12 to 26 episodes in the Book of Queer.
