There's no easy answer to this question since it presupposes a great deal about the nature of human consciousness and the relationship between mind and body. However, there are a few things we can say for sure.
First, there is currently no known way to transfer consciousness from one person to another, so any process of body-swapping would have to involve copying or moving a person's consciousness into another body. Second, even if we could somehow copy or move consciousness, it's not clear that the result would be a functional human being. The consciousness is intimately bound up with the physical body, and it's not clear that all the functions of the body could be transferred to a new host.
