The best way to get your novel published traditionally is to query literary agents. You can find agents by searching online, or attending writers conferences. Agents will usually request a synopsis and sample chapters from you. If they're interested in representing you, they'll work with you to edit and revise your novel. Once your novel is in shape, the agent will submit it to publishers on your behalf. If a publisher is interested, they'll offer you a book contract. Once you've signed the contract, your novel will go through the traditional publishing process.
