Luke chapter 1 is all about the birth of Jesus Christ. It tells the story of how Mary, the mother of Jesus, was visited by an angel who told her that she would give birth to the Son of God. The chapter also tells of how Joseph, the father of Jesus, was visited by an angel in a dream who told him to take Mary as his wife.
