How to use the Eraser tool in InDesign

The Eraser tool in InDesign is a great way to remove unwanted objects from your design. But how do you use it effectively? Are there any tips or tricks you can share?I'm curious to know how others use the Eraser tool in InDesign. Perhaps I can get some ideas to improve my own use of the tool!

The Eraser tool can be used to delete anchor points on a path, or to delete entire objects. To use the Eraser tool, select it from the Toolbox, then click on the object you want to delete. You can also use the Eraser tool to cut a path by holding down the Alt/Option key as you click on the path.

First, select the Eraser tool from the Tools panel. Then, click and drag over the area you want to erase. To constrain the erasing to a straight line, press and hold the Shift key as you click and drag. To erase a corner point, hold down the Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) key, click the point, and drag to the new location.
