There are a few great nonfiction reads coming out in 2022!
For history lovers, I recommend The Man Who Broke into Auschwitz by Denis Avey. This is the incredible true story of a British soldier who, while imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp, swaps places with a Jewish inmate in order to experience and bear witness to the true horror of the Holocaust.
For fans of biographies, I recommend Becoming Justice Blackmun by Linda Greenhouse. Blackmun was a Supreme Court Justice who served for over twenty years, and this book tells his fascinating story.
If you're interested in politics, I recommend The Corruption Chronicles by James B. Stewart. This book provides a look at the inner workings of the Trump administration, and the corruption that ran rampant during his presidency.
Finally, for a look at the criminal justice system, I recommend Chasing Justice by Scott Turow. This book tells the story of a prosecutor who discovers that the criminal justice system is not as fair and just as he thought.
