I used to have trouble reading long chapters fast, but I found a few methods that help me get through them quickly without sacrificing comprehension.
One method is to break the chapter up into smaller sections. I like to read a few pages, then take a quick break before jumping back in. This allows my mind to process what I just read and makes it easier to retain information.
Another method is to skim the chapter before reading it in full. This gives you a general idea of what the chapter is about and helps you focus while reading. You can also highlight or underline key passages as you skim so you can easily find them when you go back to read the chapter in full.
Finally, it can be helpful to read out loud. This may sound strange, but it forces you to slow down and pay attention to each word, which can help you comprehend and remember what you read.
