There are a few things you can try if you're having trouble recovering normal formatting in Word:
-First, make sure that the "Normal" style is selected in the Styles menu. If it's not, select it and then try changing your document's formatting.
-If that doesn't work, try resetting the "Normal" style. To do this, go to the Styles menu, right-click on "Normal", and select "Modify". In the Modify Style window that opens up, click on the "Format" button and then select "Reset". This will reset the Normal style to its default settings.
-If you're still having trouble, try opening up the Styles pane (which you can do by going to the View menu and selecting " Styles"). In the Styles pane, make sure that the "Normal" style is selected, and then try changing thedocument's formatting.
-Finally, if none of the above works, you can try resetting all the styles in your document. To do this, go to the Styles menu, right-click on "Normal", and select "Update to Match Selection". This will update all the styles in your document to match the formatting of the text that you have currently selected.
