There are a few different ways you can write out numbers on a check. The most common way is to use numerals, but you can also use words.
If you're using numerals, you can write the number out in full (e.g., "1,000") or use a hyphen to indicate the beginning and end of the range (e.g., "1,000-1,500").
If you're using words, you can write the whole number out (e.g., "one thousand") or use a fraction (e.g., "one thousand and fifty").
Here are a few examples:
$1,000
$1,000-$1,500
One thousand dollars
One thousand and fifty dollars
