InDesign offers a variety of customizable options for the look and functionality of its toolbar. If your toolbar has gone missing, here’s how you can restore it:
- Open InDesign and go to the Window drop-down menu.
- Check the Toolbar option to display the toolbar.
- If the Toolbar menu option is not available, go to the Application bar and click the ‘Options’ icon located at the bottom right of the window.
- Click the ‘Restore Toolbar’ button to restore the toolbar to its defaults.
If you want to customize the toolbar further, you could add buttons or menus of your own. To do this, go to the Window menu and select ‘Workspace’, then click ‘Customize Toolbar.’ You can then add new buttons, remove existing ones, or rearrange the order of the buttons. You can even apply your customizations to individual documents.
