The Urantia Book is an incredible source of spiritual enlightenment and teachings that focus on the life and teachings of Jesus from the perspective of a celestial being. It was first published in 1955 and is estimated to have been written by one or more individuals at some point in the early 1900s.
The book contains 196 papers, divided into four parts. From the first part it details the general facts about the universe and our world, and then covers the evolutionary progress of religion and science. The second part covers the history of the planet Urantia, from it's early days of chaos to the coming of Jesus.
The third part is focused on the life and teachings of Jesus, with papers 99-138. Here, Jesus is presented as a real person with a divine nature. His life and teachings are illuminated in detail, including his birth, his conversations with his apostles, his parables, teachings, miracles and more.
The fourth and final part covers the ages after Jesus, focusing on the Spirit of Truth, his ministry in the form of the Holy Spirit and how to apply Jesus' teachings in everyday life. The papers become increasingly focused on the individual reader and how to bring the knowledge from the book into their lives in a practical way.
