Accessing your CRA account is simple and convenient. Here are the steps to help you get started:
- Visit the Government of Canada website at http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/.
- Select “My Account” from the top right of the page. Select “Sign-In/Register”.
- If you already have a CRA account, enter your current User ID and password.
- If you don't already have a CRA account, click on the “Create an Account” link and follow the instructions.
Once you are logged in to your CRA account, you can view information such as your registered benefits and credits, Adjustment Request forms, view the status of your assessments and payments, view your balance owing and more.
The CRA also provides access to personal income tax information, including a current year tax return assessment, detailed payment information, RRSP deductions and slips, and more.
You can also create a My Payment Account where you can set up pre-authorized debit payments, automatic bank transfers and other payment options.
