Enabling spell check in PowerPoint

I'm trying to enable spell check in PowerPoint, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can someone please help?

Assuming you are using PowerPoint for Microsoft Office:

Click the Review tab on the ribbon.
In the Proofing section, click the Spelling button.

If the Spelling button is not available, it may because PowerPoint's spell checker is not enabled. To enable the spell checker:

Click the File tab on the ribbon, then click Options.
In the PowerPoint Options dialog box, click Proofing.
In the When correcting spelling and grammar in Word section, select the Check spelling as you type and Check grammar with spelling checkboxes.
Click OK.

If you're using PowerPoint 2016, there is a spelling checker built in.

To enable it, go to the File tab>Options> Proofing. Under "Exceptions for", uncheck "Hide spelling errors in this document" and "Hide grammar errors in this document".

If you're using an older version of PowerPoint, you'll need to install a third-party spelling and grammar checker like Grammarly.
