No place on Earth completely lacks matter. Matter is made up of physical objects, energy, and forces that interact with each other. It's impossible to go anywhere in the universe that is entirely devoid of matter - even in outer space, there's still gas particles and other forms of matter present. That said, it is possible to go to some places with extremely low amounts of matter or very little visible matter, such as extremely dry deserts, or outer space.
