At my high school, the biggest football prospect was Dillon James. He was an electrifying, dual-threat quarterback who had a phenomenal career for the Warriors. He was a four-year starter and led the team to a runner-up finish in the state playoffs in his senior year. Dillon had tremendous arm strength, athleticism, and a competitive spirit that made him stand out among the best of the best. During the recruitment process, he garnered multiple Division I offers and eventually signed with an SEC school. He was an All-American in college, and his success story is still talked about today. He remains to this day the best football prospect to ever come out of my high school.
