Quentin Tarantino plays one of the supporting roles in his 1994 film, Pulp Fiction. He stars as Jimmie Dimmick, an old friend of John Travolta’s character, Vincent Vega. In the movie, Jimmie is portrayed as a friendly family man, who always seems to be the voice of reason. He’s often seen staying upbeat and trying to help out his friends, despite the chaos that erupts in the film.
Tarantino has said that he believes his performance as Jimmie is his best onscreen work as an actor. He believes that he was able to add some of himself to the role, and it resulted in a performance that truly came from the heart. While his onscreen time isn’t particularly long, Tarantino was able to make an impact with his role in one of the most iconic films ever made.
