Penguin Random House is the largest publishing company in the world and has many successful imprints including Doubleday and Knopf. HarperCollins has a presence in nearly every country and is home to more than 200 authors and imprints such as 4th Estate and William Morrow. Hachette is the second largest publisher globally and continues to grow, with a portfolio of worldwide authors and imprints such as Grand Central and Little, Brown. Macmillan publishes educational materials, fiction and non-fiction books, and its many versatile imprints include Farrar, Straus and Giroux and St. Martin's Press. Finally, Simon & Schuster is the fourth largest publisher and produces a mix of imprints such as Atria, Touchstone, and Pocket Books. All five of these companies are among the top publishers in the world.
