Looking for alternative to proofing bag

I am trying to find an alternative to using a proofing bag when baking bread. I don't like the idea of using a plastic bag, and I would prefer not to use a bowl or pot. Does anyone have any suggestions?I have seen people use towels, but I'm not sure how well that would work. I don't want my bread to stick to the towel, and I don't want the towel to absorb too much moisture. I would appreciate any suggestions!

A proofing bag is a sealed bag that allows bread to proof, or rise. It is important to use a bag that is big enough for the bread to double in size. If you do not have a proofing bag, you can use a large bowl or pot covered with a damp towel.

If you do not have a proofing bag, you can use a clean, large bowl covered with a damp towel. Place the dough in the bowl and cover it with the damp towel. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, or as directed in your recipe.
