Brainstorm related topics and subtopics.
Once you have your main topic determined, start brainstorming related topics and subtopics. Create a mind map or a simple list to organize your ideas. Ask yourself what else your readers might need to know to understand the main topic or answer your main question, and also jot down keywords or search terms that you will need to cover.
Research to find relevant additional content.

Construct an outline.
