PII stands for “Personally Identifiable Information” and is a term used in HackerTargetBox (HTB). This refers to any data that can be used to uniquely identify, contact or locate an individual, including their name, address, phone number, email address, Social Security number, and more.
HTB safeguards member data, including PII, by collecting, storing and processing that data in a secure manner. In order to ensure that all of our members’ PII is protected, we have implemented stringent security measures, such as encrypting information transmitted to and from our site, limiting access to any personal data collected, and offering sophisticated security controls such as two-factor authentication.
We take protecting PII incredibly seriously, and our members can trust that their information is kept safe and secure when using our services. For more information about HTB and protecting your PII, please click here.
