The most thought-provoking book I have read is "The Demonata" series by Derek Landy. This eight-book fantasy series follows the adventures of a teenage boy named Grubbs Grady, who is able to see monsters and demons from another dimension. This series deals with very timely issues such as morality, mortality, loyalty, and identity, exploring the murky waters of human nature. Throughout the series, Grubbs is forced to make difficult decisions and comes face-to-face with some of the toughest questions life has to offer. Whether it’s sacrificing himself for the greater good of humanity or grappling with questions of mortality and belonging, the series tackles these topics with deftness and poignancy. Aside from the characters and plot, what made the series so thought-provoking was its ability to transport readers into another world and help them explore the grey areas of moral dilemmas. All in all, this series was an unforgettable ride and definitely one of the most thought-provoking books I have ever read.
