The anime series that I think had the shittiest sequel is Berserk. The sequel was so bad that it completely ruined the original series and all of the characters. The sequel was rushed, the animation was poor, and the story was not cohesive. Fans were outraged with the sequel and felt betrayed by the creators. They felt that the sequel was a complete waste of time and money and that it did not do justice to the original series.
