With the rise of streaming services, sci-fi series have become increasingly popular. What new sci-fi series are coming to streaming platforms this year? Are there any new sci-fi movies in the works?This year, there are a number of new sci-fi series coming to streaming platforms. Netflix is releasing a new series called "Altered Carbon," which is set in a future world where death is no longer permanent and consciousness can be transferred from one body to another. Amazon Prime Video is releasing a new series called "The Expanse," which follows a team of space explorers as they search for a mysterious alien race. Disney+ is releasing a series called "The Mandalorian," which follows a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. Finally, Apple TV+ is releasing a series called "See," which follows a society that has lost the ability to see.I'm excited to see what these new series have to offer, and I'm sure that there are more sci-fi series in the works that we don't know about yet. "The Expanse" - Though technically not "new," this show is worth mentioning as it enters its fifth season. Based on a series of novels by James S.A. Corey, "The Expanse" follows a disparate group of characters as they navigate interplanetary politics, ancient alien technology, and the fight for survival in a future where humanity has spread across the solar system.
