There is a lot that 8th graders learn in grammar! They learn about the different parts of speech, how to use them correctly in sentences, and how to diagram sentences. They also learn about subject-verb agreement, pronoun agreement, and how to use modifiers correctly. Additionally, they learn about how to use commas, semicolons, and other punctuation marks correctly. By the end of 8th grade, students should have a strong understanding of grammar rules and be able to use them confidently in their writing.
