It would be impossible to list them all here, but some examples include the films "Gone With the Wind," "The Shawshank Redemption," and "The Lord of the Rings." In general, films tend to be far more concise and focused than books, so it's not uncommon for them to deviate significantly from their source material in order to tell a more focused story.
