How do you add an outline to a Cricut shape?

I'm trying to add an outline to a shape in Cricut, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can someone please help?I'm using the Cricut Explore Air 2. I've tried using the "draw" feature, but it doesn't seem to work. I've also tried using the "trace" feature, but that doesn't seem to work either.I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

There are a few ways that you can add an outline to a shape in Cricut.

One way is to use the Contour tool. This tool allows you to trace around the outside of a shape to create an outline.

To use the Contour tool:

Select the shape that you want to add an outline to.
Click the "Contour" button in the toolbar.
Click around the outside of the shape to trace the outline.
When you are finished, click the "Done" button.

Another way to add an outline to a shape is to use the Offset tool. This tool creates a copy of the shape that is offset from the original shape. This can be used to create an outline around the original shape.

To use the Offset tool:

Select the shape that you want to add an outline to.
Click the "Offset" button in the toolbar.
Enter the amount that you want the offset to be in the "Offset Distance" field. This will determine how far away the new shape is from the original shape.
