In White House Down, Secret Service Agent John Cale (Channing Tatum) fails in his mission to protect President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx), and the White House is taken over by terrorists. Cale is able to rescue President Sawyer and they team up to try to take back the White House. The movie ends with Cale and Sawyer fighting the terrorists and eventually winning.
The movie that comes after White House Down is Olympus Has Fallen. In Olympus Has Fallen, the White House is taken over by terrorists and President Asher (Aaron Eckhart) is taken hostage. Secret Service Agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) is the only one who can save the president and he does so by fighting his way through the terrorists and eventually killing them all.
