What are some tips for designing an effective brochure? How do you layout the text and images? What colors and fonts work well together?

I'm working on a brochure for my business and I want to make sure it is effective. I'm curious to hear how others have designed their brochures.

A brochure is typically a tri-fold or bi-fold document that contains information about a company, product, or service. The front cover is typically the most eye-catching, and includes the company name and logo, as well as a headline or tagline. The inside panels typically include additional information about the company or product, along with images, charts, and graphs. The back cover is typically reserved for contact information.

A brochure typically has three panels. The first panel is the outside, or front, panel. This is where you make your key sales pitch, grab the reader's attention, and explain what the brochure is about. The middle panel is the inside, or back, panel. This is where you provide more detailed information about your product or service. The third panel is the flap, or pocket panel. This is where you can put additional information, such as a coupon, order form, or map.
